Digital images are becoming very popular on this forum, and I enjoy seeing them very much – keep them coming…! When I first began fishing Lake Texoma seriously for Striped Bass in the early 1980’s, I would report my catches to local guides and fishermen and tell them of big stripers I caught and released. Their remarks – YEAH, RIGHT…..! I bought a Polaroid camera, then a film camera, and now digital. The rebukes stopped and credibility was established. The attached photo will explain my passion for Hybrid Striped Bass in our ponds. George Glazener N.E. Texas ¼ and 2 acre ponds

Very nice, George. The attached photo will explain my passion for Hybrid Striped Bass in our ponds. I believe the 2nd photo also explains your feelings for Lady G - it's good to have a woman around who can keep up with (if not outfish) you! "My" pond is the first body of water my wife has NOT outfished me on.

First of all, you need to have the pic(s) you want to post on Pond Boss saved on your computer somewhere. Then... 1. Set up a free account at Photobucket.com if you have not already. You will need to come up with a user name and password to use every time you go to the Photobucket.com page. 2. Once that is done, and you have logged into Photobucket.com, click "Browse" on the Photobucket.com page to access the pics that are on YOUR computer. 3. Afer some scrolling, when you see the pic you want to post on Pond Boss, click on it and then click "Submit" on Photobucket.com. 4. Wait for it to download to appear on the Photobucket.com site a little lower on the page. 5. Notice the the addresses under the photo? URL, TAG, IMG? You want to point your mouse at the one that says IMG. Once it's highlighted push the control button and 'C' at the same time on your keyboard. 6. You are now ready to start a new thread on Pond Boss or post your pic as a "Reply" as you would if you were reponding to someone's thread. So either start a new thread or click "Reply" on Pond Boss. You will end up with a box to post your pic(s) just like if you were normally replying. 7.) Find the button that says "Image" and click on it. See the box that appeared in the upper left corner that says "Explorer User Prompt"? See the line that starts with http://? You want to push the control key and the 'V' key at the same time now on your keyboard and the Image address should appear on that line. Then click O.K. 7.) You should now see the address appear in the reply box or box where you are starting a new thread. (no picture yet) Get rid of the extra imgs on each side and then click "Preview Post." Important: You don't want any duplications on each side of the address. Just an Img on each end and then the Image address. If you pic appears the way you want it to, go back and click "Add Reply" and you should be all set. Or you can skip "Preview Post" and just click "Add Reply." If it's not the way you want it click the Edit/Delete image (paper and pencil) and come back and change things. BTW, you can add text anywhere you want in the box with your image address as long as it's not connected to your image address. This is not as complicated as you think. Once you get the hang of it, it comes intuitively

at the bottom of your pics on photobucket you'll see 3 boxes, one says image, highlight that box then right click and hit copy,go back to the reply box on pondboss, right click and hit paste, your photo will appear there.I found this the easiest for me. Also, leave the photos on photobucket for as long as you want them to appear on pondboss,if you delete from photobucket they also dissappear on your post. You can go to account options to set the size before you send the photos from your computer to photobucket, that ways you don't have those great big giant pics that you have to scroll across to see. I think thats right. Mike

M Spinhirne,
I see why one of your pics did not show up. You have two sets of imgs on the outside of your address where the address is there but no pic.
You only need one set. Make sure they match though as in two lower case imgs or two upper case imgs. If you go back you should be able click edit and fix that and that second pic should appear. You're getting it!

Okay, I haven't mastered it. There should have been two pictures, one showing water. Why did the last one show the http address rather than the picture. I tried several times but could not get these pictures to load. Mike

Just go back to your original post and add another one in by pushing the edit button. Once you get both of your pics in the same post go ahead and delete the other one.
However typically you just keep adding images on the same post. No big deal.

Well that seems to have worked. Now you can see where my pond is losing water, just outside the feeder creek on the right hand side. This was taken the other day and I was standing just outside my back door.

Ejfan – good job….! If you want to resize photos there’s a couple of simple ways to do it. My favorite, if you have outlook express, highlight the photo you want to post and click on: 1. “email this file” 2. Box will come up – click on “show more options” 3. Click on “make my pictures this size” – I prefer 640x480 or 800x600 pixel window. Transfer re-sized photos to PhotoBucket and post as above instructions. These sizes are usually are rcommended for posting pictures on the internet. Another good re-sizing program is program is PIXresizer – free download. http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm Hope this helps, George Glazener

George : I sure wish I knew about that last night when it took me an hour to fix 2 of those CNBG pics. Never did get the best pic fixed. I might try again later.
