I can actually see the bottom of the pond (o.k.....in the shallow area...but still). This is exciting on many levels. One, clearer water thanks to help from the people here with lime/gypsum and thanks to Ted again for the aeration help.... I can see the bluegill and I can see their nests! Before Pond Boss I looked into mud. I couldn't see a dang thing. Now I see that plants are beginning to grow from the bottom too. Now this is what a pond is about to me. I know people have written that the muddy water doesn't bother the fish, so why let it bother you.....I am one that it bothered. I want to see the fish. Now I can. Thanks everyone.
Oh, and hubby thinks he has identified the "mystery" fish we keep seeing. He thinks it is a bowfin.
Now that we can see into the water, we have another fish that runs in schools that we are trying to identify. The LMB chase them. They move so fast we can't get a good look.
