Stinkin' beavers. This one floated up about 2 weeks after he got hit, and he still had the trap and the H frame on him. Actually, having multiple brush piles has saved my trees because the lazy turds just get what's in the water and leave growing trees alone. 6 traps out now. 3 on the hut, and 3 on the overflow pipe they're trying to plug up.
Good thing he floated. Did the H Frame and trap come dislodged from the bottom?
I always staked my traps so they'd not disappear. Other than getting stolen that is.
