I've caught YP on a 4" soft plastic jerk bait& a 2/0 hook........ Any small artificial crank bait will work, or use a 1/8" or smaller jig head and 1.5"-2" white curly tail grub with the tail up. No bobber, light line, cast out until it hits bottom, slowly retrieve it back.
