I noticed my fish feeding at the surface yesterday afternoon. I went out there with a pint of Optimal pellets and the fish were all over that stuff.
I've placed another seven loader buckets full of limestone cobble into the pond over the past couple weeks. I've got about that much left on pile that still needs to go in. I'm going to be really happy when I'm finished with that.
I saw a pair of muskrats casing the joint Saturday evening. I got out there early Sunday morning and waited on them with Mr. Ruger, but they didn't come out to play. Haven't seen them since so maybe they decided all of that riprap on the dam is too much for them to tame.
