We are south for the winter till mid April so only report I can give on the ponds is what my daughter tells us when she checks on the house. She said we finally got big enough rains for some runoff and the main pond has risen. Not to the overflow yet but at least gained significant water.

Last year was a drought year for us like many others. It was not a total burn up year, although crop yields were significantly lower, but the rains we got were small enough to not really have any runoff to add any to the ponds. So they just kept going down, down, down with evaporation. They reached nearly two feet low. I had not seen them that low since they were originally built and were initially filling.

I was glad to hear the water levels were up. Our house live cameras show the pond but not in enough detail to tell for sure just how full. But I can see the floating dock is floating a little higher. A wet spring is tough on the farmers, but it sure could help my ponds.
