Can a pond siphon pipe be raised ? The 12" pipe with valve, if left open, will drop the water level below the back of my floating dock. NRCS suggested installing a new gravity drain pipe which they said would move more water. But, I'm thinking that raising the siphon pipe might be a cheaper solution if possible. And, sufficient dam freeboard won't be an issue. What about just raising the air break? If you do that the water will stop flowing at a higher level if the air break is raised. Can that be done with your system? Hopefully you don't have to move the whole pipe, just the air break.
