Hmmm, I'm wondering if I could do something like this to collect eggs from the catfish in my pond, raise them up until they get big enough to survive on their own and turn them back into the pond. Before we drained and re-worked the pond, I never ever would catch a smaller catfish so if they were breeding, I don't think the young were surviving long enough to reach adulthood. I bet you could.
