We have as many WO acorns as Ive ever seen this yr, in spite of a late season dry spell, like FishenRod, we had real good rain, to the point of excessive rain early, farmers were way late getting crops in because of too much rain. but they did start dropping earlier then usual, even dropping while they were still green, Im assuming because of the drought.
The hogs would be getting fat around here this year, the deer and turkeys are loving them. supposedly there was a wild hog spotted here in the area, less then 6 miles from my farm, not sure that I am ready for that, we don't have any around here that I officially know of.
Id like to do some hog hunting some day, its on my bucket list, but I would rather do it in another state, them dang things tend to destroy some land pretty fast I hear.
