Also, the more fish there are, the less fry make it to maturity. But, As Lusk says : In an established pond, 99% of the eggs laid and hatched will never live to reach maturity. They get eaten.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
