Once the sunfish go in you wont have to worry about the mosquitoes from your pond and, in fact, would be reducing the available food for them by adding the dunks. Good point. There is also a fair chance that the pesticides in the mosquito dunks could kill some of the other types of insect larva that are part of the pond food chain.
