The trees are a mixed blessing. They look great, and there is always a shady spot on the pond. But they also pull a lot of water, and drop a lot of leaves and pollen. We love them though. They block a lot of the wind, and we don’t have aeration, so I worry about a fish kill, but so far so good.
This is just the second year for the pond weed. Hoping it doesn’t get out of control. If it really picks up there will be one grass carp in the pond.

RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these.
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
