I had no idea toads were vocal. We've heard several new species of frogs since digging the pond & had no idea one of 'em was a toad.
Our youngest Dachshund will leave them alone most of the time (he will kill anything else he can catch), until he forgets how bad they taste & make him foam at the mouth.
