I have a 2.5 acre pond and there are a lot of 11" bass, but nothing larger than that. The recommendation was for me to remove as many of the small bass as possible and then restock after that. I'm having trouble catching many of the bass, even with live bait. Any other thoughts on how to remove? Would a gill net work? I'm not too concerned whether the net would kill fish, as one other option presented to me was to just start over entirely. If a gill net would work, what size would be good for small bass?
Thanks
