Question with the pallets, if you don't really know what level the pond will return to in the spring, due to the drought and low soil water levels, can you let a pallet float on the surface so it stays available no matter what level the pond is at? I assume it's the flat surfaces that the fatheads are drawn to and I expect the lower pallet level will be available if it's floating... Past years the fatheads really liked the grasses in the shallows to spawn, but once i began irrigating from the pond it would pull the water level out of the grasses and probably greatly reduced my fathead spawning... I no longer use the pond for irrigation, so the level will be controlled by nature now... Anyway was just curious if that would be a good solution... Thanks J
