There is even a charitable organization in Kansas to donate your deer harvest to the hungry. (The hunters just need to field dress the deer and then take it to a participating processor.)

It is easy for residents to get a tag for the antlerless season that starts on January 1st. If a significant number of people culled a doe, then the highways would be safer next year, and a lot of low-income people would have some excellent protein added to their diets!
