I have several barbed wire gates that are so old that they definitely would be a risk to hold cattle. (There are no cattle on the farm at the present.) I think that is where the dogs are going in. I probably need to check for footprints after the next soaking rain.
I doubt I can make them "dog proof", but maybe one extra strand in the bottom 18" would help. However, the dogs could still easily go through the rest of my fences.
*** I suppose tiger pits with punji stakes at the bottom are too much?
