Purchased property 2 years ago in Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. It has a 3/4 acre pond that was 1/2 covered with cattails and duckweed. We had it partially drained and had excavated to remove the cattails and majority of the muck. Finally have duckweed under control. Only life appears to be frogs and turtles, no fish. Depth will range from 4-12 feet when full. It's about half full now. Aeration and artificial habitat will be installed within the next 2 weeks. My goal would be to stock FHM, LMB and was hoping on yellow perch instead of BG. Not sure LMB and YP can cohabitate. Looking for advise on stocking quantity and timeline. Thanks in advance for all advice.
