I wanted to thank you all for your input. I sorta knew I was asking questions that were impossible or extremely hard to answer. Too many variables. I set my pond budget at around $80-100k. Regardless of size, I am gonna build one (or 2) ponds once I decide where I'm gonna end up.
Finding a reputable pond builder when I move is something I will be asking more about. So, I'm glad I found this site
Would it be better/less expensive to clean up an old pond? (Probably an impossible question to answer). I'm just gonna learn as much as I can from you guys in the meantime.
Hypothetical...Let's say I find a few properties I'm interested in. Is it a thing to have a pond consultant to come out and survey the land if it's viable before I buy?
