Set up a brand new TH feeder a couple of weeks ago, and was surprised to hear it make a loud clattering sound when it went off.
Does it make this noise when there is no feed in the feeder and it goes through a "throw" cycle?
Like Al said, what size pellets are you throwing?
How far is the bottom of the spin plate set from the bottom of the hopper?
