Couple of options:
1) Dig a silt/sediment trap pond. Faster flowing water enters the pond, the sediment drops out and cleaner water goes to the pond. Then you clean that pond out every few years. Without looking it up I don't know what dwell time you would be shooting for in that pond.
2) Put up a silt fence, but that all depends on how much water is flowing.
3) Planting a lot of rushes and sedges to slow down the speed of the water in that area, allowing the sediment to settle out. BUT if the ground is flat, shortly it will not be flat and the sediment laden water will start running around that area.
