Was a bit surprised to notice bluegill, feeding of the surface of my pond in recent weeks. Today there was quite a bit of activity - seemed to be some sort of hatch going on and noticed dozens of fish rising to eat off the surface. Temps were in the mid 40s today but was a bit warmer the previous couple days.
Have noticed a lot of this feeding over last few weeks on the warmer days.
