I do plan on beginning to treat with herbicide in the spring and I have stocked the pond with grass carp. I have not seen the results from them that I thought that I would. Or maybe they are eating in areas where I do not notice currently. I'm unsure if I should attempt to kill it all or if I should just treat the areas that would enhance the beauty as well as open up more fishing areas. Thoughts? From what I've read, doesn't a pond need vegetation to keep everything in balance? I attempted the pond dye and with the amount of flow through that I have I might as well purchased lotto tickets with the money and I don't play the lottery.
