I have seen that flushing water across agg lime works better than using a spreader truck. If you have a ditch or a washout area, spread lime along the bottom and then pump water across the lime and back into the pond. The agg lime will not desolve instantly so repeating it over and over again will raise the pH faster than the lime just setting on the ponds bottom. Maybe a trash pump sucking water out of the pond and then over the lime and back into the pond works pretty good.
