That small system will do no more that create a few patches of bubbles that would be nice to look at along your shoreline (if oyu like bubbles and who doesn't?). If 10 homes all had that same system going along their portion of the shore, that might be a different story...might!

Aeration systems are not all that effective in keeping water clear. I assume you are talking about floating mats of algae or vegetation. They are a tool to help fight it, but they are very rarely the sole solution.

Your money would be better spent on a fountain and that would only increase the beauty factor. One fountain or a system like you mentioned would do next to nothing with regards to overall water quality...a smidgen, but nothing you could measure when it comes to dissolved oxygen...it's just too small for a 10 acre lake.

Having some bubblers within very close proximity of a dock might help keep the floating algae away from the dock, but only on calm days. I think you would be disappointed with the results compared to the money and time spend on it.
