Thanks John, I don't have any green sunfish and after seeing your pictured fish, I did not consider a hybrid fish was maybe what I saw since the Tp are not supposed to survive our winters. Even though this winter was pretty mild. I can not rule out a Tp was what I saw, but hybrid maybe possible I guess? This fish I saw had to be in the 12 to 14" size range, has me stumped till I can catch it.
You know, Tracy, most of the warming we've experienced has been during the winter, not summer. I'd love to see an article about the effects of milder winters on fishery management. For sure a plus in some aspects, a negative in others. We've had a couple of PB articles about hotter summers, but that's not mostly what is happening.
