Yep, same here. I've had it for years, and it's more or less a bog plant. The slender spikerush the carp may eat looks more like a bushy pondweed type plant to me. I'd never even heard of it before.
I like the look of the rush's, and they really help hold the banks together. Easy to control if you ever want to.
