Can someone explain what happens scientifically that makes liming or gypsum work in a suspended solid situation?
I pulled some samples from the lake and wanted to test it out with applying lime to one and gypsum to another. But was wondering am I liming to cover the lake bottom and that settles the solids from being to act freely, or does the lime neutralize the solids as it goes to the bottom?
Just hope I don't end up with a 50 mud hole.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
