I know over the years there has been debate on this forum about fish eggs being transported by birds to ponds that had not been stocked. I couldn’t remember if this paper published this summer had been brought up.. The study below involved eggs from the killifish passing through the GI system of a swan and remaining not only viable, but able to develop into a fish.
