Frank, I have some interest in doing the same at my place. But I am concerned it could put me in a predator heavy position as they grow larger. Another thing that has kept me from adding the trout is the cost verses the benefit? Not sure how many to add per acre because for me it would be about forage for the lmb and not so much about fishing for the trout. I'm not sure what the cost would be to add enough rbt to make a difference in lmb growth. How did you determine how many to add per acre? I am betting you have done the research. Maybe you can give an estimate in the cost per acre? And maybe you can keep us informed on what you see after adding them? And Thanks for posting this up.
