It went lickety split from 70's to low 20's here, In the teens further North where my property is. It's hunting season but, so far, no reason to go. I was there 3 days on opening weekend and saw nothing. Didn't hear a shot and I can usually hear them from 5 miles away. Grandson and his girl friend went last weekend. They saw nothing and only heard 2 shots around the area. I'm crediting that to a huge acorn drop. Corn is piling up under the 6 feeders. Even the hogs aren't messing with it. The high winds will bring down more acorns.

I'll probably go there in a couple of days just to get my butt out of the DFW area.


It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
