I sure hope they are still there. There were a few hundred there and haven't seen any floaters. It is so wet here the water is still cloudy so even on sunny days you can only see to about 2'. I will definitely try the different bait!!!
It was a long cold winter, is it possible you had a winter kill? If you did you might not have any floaters, deep small pits seem to be more likely to winter kill than shallower ones.
