Thanks guys and Bocomo I am starting to keep them bass out as well as you suggested. I already see small 4 inch bass in my pond so I know I have new ones coming up as well. It's hard to keep the 4 pound LMB tho and not throw him back, but I've come to the conclusion I am going to have to so I can get back on track.
Man, I hear you on this one. Taking out the skinny big ones is one of the hardest things I've had to do at my pond. I really have to grit my teeth and close my eyes before I toss them behind the dam.
