I received a letter from Overton's fisheries last month where it said if you are interested in stocking TFS next spring then you need to place your order now.

Frank, my pond for the most part has had 18 to 21" of green water visibility and a couple of times it was even greener with less visibility up until this year after adding the Alum. Since then the water has had 22" for most of the time to where it is now at 35". The TFS seemed to have been doing well with the less fertile water. It has remained green through out all of it and remains green today but not as green as I have seen in the past. I hope this information helps in your decision making.

I called Overton's yesterday to place TFS order but haven't heard back. Bob Lusk says that I'd be wiser to buy in the spring than now, given my geographic location. Might get too cold for them to survive winter in my BOW.

Sure wish I had your fertility. Don't think viz has ever been less than 30 inches, and usually closer to 40 despite liming & fertilizer. On the plus side, it doesn't get muddy no matter how much rain falls.
