Discussion - pellet feeding when done properly of high quality 40% protein food produces more 2 pound plus bluegill. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=473739&page=1What it takes to raise 2 lb bluegill. Standard length of a 2 lb BG is 12.8". This is more likely to happen in the southern states that have longer growing seasons. Note To Self - northern BG usually live longer than southern BG thus in theory 2 lb BG can still be raised in northern states it will just take longer. Do it right and they will grow big. How to raise 2 lb bluegill as per PondBoss Bob Lusk. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=487088#Post487088
