It doesn't have a relief--just a zerk. We took it out and put a block in. No grease leaked out of the zerk hole but a little leaked out in the spring. Other than that it just compressed the spring. There is just an inch or less on the shaft before it gets larger and can't go into the cylinder. Is that enough? It looks like it needs to be shorter before it would come out. Is it one long shaft that goes from the idle through the cylinder and inside the two springs or is it two?
