John F, I'm not sure, but I think the soilfloc is making a difference. My pond it a few years old, and has been up to full a few times. Either way, it's leaking slower than it was. Maybe someday I'll only have to worry about evaporation. Having looked at it for months, when it was 3 to 4 feet down, it looks a lot better.
