Had a biologist in Alpena once tell me they only get a 1/10th of 1 percent survival rate for stocked brown trout in the bay. He said the comorants and walleye do a number on them.
This was at least 15 years ago, so perhaps they've changed things or done something to increase their survival?

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
