Priority 1 is removing goldfish and operation 'goldfish-no-more' is underway in earnest. 40+ out in 2 days smile That will clear up water which will help the LCS and protect their eggs.

Turbidity - soilfloc so far has given excellent visibility, of course it is also ice out time which usually gives clear water too.

No FA anywhere. that is good and bad. (Bad for the smaller members of the food chain and the fish eggs) Tilapia did great last year. I'm going to have to see what happens with vegetation and FA this year and decide whether to do tilapia or not again. The tilapia I imagine also scavenge on fish eggs too but they usually don't get stocked till mid May or even early June here in MI.

Crays are destroying the vegetation. But with very clear water this year I'm interested to see if the vegetation makes a come back. I'm thinking with excellent sun penetration we might see some vegetation back again which would be good for the scuds, ghost shrimp and maybe the fish eggs smile
