I rather doubt that you will have any reproduction from your LCS because I think the goldfish will eat all the unguarded LCS eggs. LCS lay eggs early in the season when natural foods are usually in short supply thus any fish eggs are prime fish food items. You also may not have optimum spawning habitat to get good spawns & hatches of LCS. I think FA is important for their spawn egg hatch habitat. Cooper (1935) indicated that eggs were scattered over aquatic vegetation including moss, filamentous algae, and grass stubble. Carr (1942) reported an association between lake chubsuckers and largemouth bass nests and in which lake chubsuckers laid their eggs in active largemouth bass nests and the developing eggs would be protected from predators by largemouth bass.

Turbid water will also be a detriment to egg hatch since LCS thrive in clear water. Any LCS fry that manage to hatch will likely get consumed by your existing fish.
