FIXING BAD LINKS
Look at the web address also called the URL (URL = Universal Resource Locator).
The correct preface for the URL and one that works is
http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php...........The one that doesn't work does not have the word “forums” directly after the http://
Example of bad link – note where the word forums is located, it is after the .com/ and not after http://
http://www.pondboss.com/forums/ubbthreads.php.........You have to manually change the bad link. If you take the one that doesn't work, and change it to:
http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php? and keep everything after that the same of the thread that doesn't work, it will now work.
This fix method applies to all the links that don't work in the archives.........
The moderators are gradually correcting the bad links from old threads as we encounter them. Thank you for your patience.
