I took a ride or three on the 120+ year old Otis elevator #61 at the Del Coronado Hotel in San Diego a few years back. Still works great!....Kinda slow though smile Looks like your job is going to require knowledge from several eras. Awesome!

I'm thinking the pic you posted is way high tech compared to what's controlling old #61!...although it has been converted to electricity! smile
