One can haul fewer smaller fish in oxygenated bags for a couple days providing the fish are not overcrowded. Generally for longer distances and times 15-30 3"-4" fish per bag is a low number IMO. Number of fish per bag is the key point for success depending on how far one is traveling and the temperature. Cooler weather and water temperatures (48-60F) is almost always better than warmer (70F+) for hauling fish in most all situations.
