Wanted to give an LCS update. I had not seen them for a while so I was fearing the worst as we just had a major algae bloom a few weeks ago. I was walking the pond yesterday and saw the RES hanging out in the shallows and to my surprise mixed in with them were the LCS. They were schooling with the RES all around the pond. They are already in the 4-6" range, same size as the RES, which made them harder to identify. What would be a good way to capture a few to check true lengths?
