Sean, if the battery does not have sufficient charge, the controller will not turn on the juice that might damage the aerator.
I hope we have enough rainy days to test the system - I would rather have the rain than solar electricity...
My solar consultant (Highflyer) tells me that UV will charge the battery to some extent, but I can't get the same answer twice in a row from him...
Hope we have a chance to find out...
