OK cb100, you have my curiosity here. You are doing exactly what I have wanted to do.I see the pic cat put up for you but it is not clear or large enough for me to see the details. The pic appears to show a PVC pipe with hoes on top of another PVC pipe tied together with metal bars of some sort.Right? 20 ft. length I understand, the holes I understand .90 to prevent the pump sucking anything larger than the pump can handle and plug.

What I do not understand is how and why the unit works in way down into the muck. Why does it work down into the mud? Just asking. I am not saying it does not do that, I guess I am asking.

I am sure you know it is doing some good due to the settlement pond filling with mud, Right? Do you have any Idea how much time you spend running the pump and pulling the pipe across the pond and the number of pounds or tons of mud you pull from your pond? Even a rough Idea would be great to know.
