I am wondering? Why do the fish and animals spawn or reproduce @ my place @ different times than others here? An example would be my FHM's seamed to have reproduced when water temps were 74 degrees not before. And I have not seen any fry from the Tilapia or from the GSH or the RES, but the banks are covered in FHM's thousands of them. I put in 120 lbs of FHM into the pond and now the fry are in one long chain of fry around the banks. Maybe I can not tell the difference but all the fry look the same. As I read here, it seams like you guys North are having spawning in much cooler water temps. Is that a regional thing? Or am I not able to distinguish the difference in the fry? I see no spawning beds on the RES or CNBG, the larger CNBG I see seam to be around 4" in length and girth, not sure about the res, as I never see any. and where do the Tilapia spawn?
Thanks
Tracy
