Can you tell if there is any water coming out of the back of the pipe?
If there is water coming out at all you might be able to push a smaller piece of pipe in from the top or from the back and get the plug loosened up.
The pump is a good idea.
You do not water to go over the top again. I am betting you used up your luck last time.
