Zero downside to grass shrimp. They feed on detritus and are a great secondary forage source. Several Northern fisheries featuring quality Walleye, Yellow Perch, and Northern rely almost solely on a similar species - freshwater scuds - and flourish. Scuds and shrimp are great additions to any fishery IMO - I love them and stock them in all my ponds and my clients ponds, too.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. ~ Henry David Thoreau
