We just last night had a 5 inch rain in my new 2 acre pond. We are nearing full pool.I stocked my fhm and cnbg on Feb. 20th 2014. Within the last week and a half I have been noticing a dead fish every other day. Maybe 8 or 10 total now.I was planning on getting another water chemistry test done before the big rain hit. All the dead fish are 3 inch cnbg. My fhm are feeding like crazy but not many cnbg showing up. I have 1800 1 inch cnbg and never see any of them dead. I stocked maybe 200 of the 3 inch. My question is how long should I wait after this hard rain to take my water sample or is it ok to do it tomorrow? My local feed store has a computer analysis machine that will give me a printout while I wait.My original readings were: PH 6.6 Hardness 57PPM Alkalinity 43PPM
